Maria & Erik – Colonie Country Club

March 1, 2010 – 9:05 am

Fantastic couple, awesome day! That’s what I remember about this one.  Maria and Erik were apparently made for each other.  They were as cuddly and playful as two puppies during their wedding day last May.  The day kicked off with Maria fully dress and ready to go.  When I arrived she was already putting on her shoes.   Photographer Paul Saunders moved quickly into a pre-ceremony photo session with some of the bride’s family members.  Then we were off to the the church for an early afternoon ceremony.  Erik and his best man were in great spirits, joking a bit as they waited for things to get underway.  Before long, a polished black limo arrived with Maria and here parents.  Things move quickly when there are only four in the bridal party. Within moments the ceremony was underway.  Both Maria and Erik beamed as they stated their vows before family and friends.  After the kiss and a few more photos it was party time!  Overall, it was another great day in the sunshine, with another outstanding couple.  Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to be an important part of your wonderful wedding day.

Dear Al:

It’s been nearly a month since we picked your video, and words cannot express how appreciative we are of the fantastic job you did!  It was so worth the wait!!!  Like so many other couples, we originally were not planning to have a video because of budget, but I’m so happy that everyone we talked to convince us otherwise.  While Paul did a great job with photography, you have given us priceless memories of real-time action.  We knew we would miss out on so much with our guests, and you have captured the fun they were all having.  My mom was also skeptical at first, but when she and my dad watched their copy, we all laughed and cried together!  It has also been so meaningful to me to now have this to watch with Erik now living in Idaho, until we can sell the house and I can move out there.  I find myself watching the video over and over late at night just to still see his face before I go to sleep.  And I cry every time!  It has also been fun to share the great entry on the blog with distant friends and family that could not make it to the wedding.  My niece said she cried just watching the clip!  Again, from the bottom of our hearts – thank you for giving us such an amazing recap of our most special day.  You truly have a gift and I am so glad to have worked with you.  May you be a continued success!  Sincerely, Maria and Erik Hancock – 3/24/10
