Alexis & David – The Gorman Wedding
February 13, 2010 – 9:01 pmI’ve got to admit it; this one kind of caught me off guard. The only thing I really knew going into the event was that it was going to be big, and it was going to be beautiful. All of the event arrangements were handled by event planner extraordinaire, Lisa Light. So, I had no contact with the couple or their parents prior to the wedding day. During my pre-weddingl check-in with the coordinator about a week before the event, Lisa simply said to me “Al this is your kind of event, so bring your A game.” When I arrived at the reception location to see a mansion styled tent, with crystal chandeliers and full plush carpeting, I knew immediately what she meant. The details within the tent were nothing short of amazing, but what else could be excepted from David M. Schmidt of Renaissance Floral Designs. In fact, amazing seems to be the theme of the day. Everything, including all four toasts honoring Alexis & David, were simply outstanding. Yes, this was indeed my type of event, big, beautiful, fun and festive!
