Stacy & Eric – Mohawk River Country Club

January 19, 2010 – 8:05 am

Aaahhh, a little bit of relief from the deep winter freeze.  One of the best things about editing summer weddings during the winter months is that it helps me to deal with these dreary January days.  While editing the wedding of Stacy and Eric last week, I took comfort in the fact that incredible days like theirs will return again soon.  From the moment I arrived at Stacy’s home for the pre-ceremony, I knew it was going to be a great day.  The bride was all ready to go.  We jumped right into the formal photo session, then off to the church to hook up with the groom.  Eric, a very low key groom, could hardly contain himself before the ceremony.  The huge grin that greeted me early on, only got bigger as the event moved forward.  After the ceremony, the mood quickly relaxed into playful upbeat vibe.  Stacy and Eric were always the center of attention, but their attention seemed to be only on each other.  From the time they exited to church to the applause of the family and friends, the new Mr. & Mrs. Brown remained within arms reach of one another.  Yet another great day filled with love, laughter and sunny skies. On this dark and deary January morning, oh how I yearn for days like these to return.
